The perfect cleaner for busy lifestyles has come to Zionsville. Although new to the area, Starcrest Cleaners located at 1201 West Oak Street is a multigenerational, family-owned business with locations throughout the Midwest. The Hermes family was looking for a community that shared their vision and values when they decided on Zionsville as the location for their most wide-ranging and innovative facility to date.

“We are a third-generation cleaning and laundry business,” says Starcrest CEO, Luke Hermes. “The business began in the 1970s and my father, Leo, launched the Starcrest brand in 1990. We made a conscious decision to grow in the north Indianapolis area three years ago when my operating partner, Bill Wilkins wanted to relocate here in order to be closer to family. We were immediately drawn to Zionsville because the community’s values align with our core vision of providing families more time to spend with each other and pursue their dreams.

Starcrest Cleaners Zionsville“We’ve been in the industry for 50 years, and we are always evolving, innovating and pushing the envelope on what we can offer and do for our customers. It was a family labor of love to get the Zionsville location open. My father and I worked daily on the building out process and the installation of our company-owned laundry and cleaning equipment,” Hermes adds.

Starcrest Cleaners offers everything expected from a laundry and dry cleaning business but it has a major feature that sets it apart. Besides its 30-year tradition of same-day service and valet drive through which allows employees to serve patrons right at their car door, they have initiated free, same-day mobile pickup and delivery right to homes in the Zionsville area Monday to Saturday. However, this service is not just for dry cleaning but also specializes in family members personal laundry.

“It is a seamless experience due to the integration of online accounts and cell phone texting,” Hermes adds. “Customers set up accounts with an automatic payment method on file, specify pickup and delivery times as well as any special instructions. Customers receive a text the evening before to remind them their pickup is the next day and give them the opportunity to decline service. We pick up after 8 am and deliver back the same day before 8 pm. Customers are alerted when their laundry has been picked up and delivered as well!

“Our Laundry Bins program is priced at $19.95 per bag,” he adds. “One bag holds what would be a weeks’ worth of laundry for one person or about a load and a half in a home washer. We use plant-based, hypoallergenic detergent and temperatures never exceed 120 degrees. Each bag is individually processed by itself. All the returned clothes are cleaner, softer and folded more uniformly than you have ever seen. Laundry is returned within hours instead of days because we know speed and convenience is essential for our customers!”

49680131342_d845b569b0_kDue to the Coronavirus, Starcrest Cleaners had to cancel its grand opening plans for April. Therefore, they are offering 75% off your next order in September (up to $50) with the coupon insert.

“We got to know and respect Zionsville through the process of building this store,” Hermes says. “We are excited to earn people’s business by showing how we can serve their dry cleaning and laundry needs better. We hope to be Zionsville’s comprehensive cleaners for years to come!"

Customers can take advantage of the 75% OFF offer remotely or in person. To initiate free same-day pickup/delivery service, text 317-593-9401 or visit StarcrestCleaners.com.
