Carmel, IN—Paul Henderson began his plumbing career in 1977, learning the plumbing trade from his dad. Moving here in 1989, he established his company, growing one employee at a time. A resident here for over 30 years, Paul knows the value of community. In his continued efforts to give back, Paul recognizes that this pandemic affects us all and has a domino effect.
Wanting to make a difference, Paul Henderson Plumbing has been donating $20 from each service call the company makes, that has an hour or more of labor involved, to organizations in need, and coronavirus relief efforts. Paul has asked the public via social media to suggest needy, worthy non-profit organizations. Many of these organizations have found themselves more strapped than usual, as many have lost jobs and children have been home from school. “It’s been wonderful learning about so many local organizations that are making a difference. I’ve found it very rewarding to meet those who donate their time or make it their careers to serve.”
Paul Henderson Plumbing has donated over $2,000 over the last month and is still going strong. Organizations have included the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank, Bags of Hope, Crooked Creek Food Pantry, and the Indianapolis Neighborhood Fellowship. Each week, new organizations come to light, large and small. “Our business is essential, but helping our community is the most essential thing we can do.” Visit www.paulhendersonplumbing.com for more information or, call 317-872-3535.
