Our 2020 “spin” on CEF’s 12th annual Ghosts and Goblins event.
Registration is open for Ghosts and Goblins Go!, the 2020 spin on Carmel Education Foundation’s (CEF) annual Ghosts and Goblins 5k/2k race.
With this new format, participants can
GO enjoy an activity they enjoy, while honoring CCS Superhero’s who have used their amazing “super-powers” so that Carmel Clay Schools kids can
GO to school despite obstacles from the pandemic. An added adventure encourages people to
GO on a virtual or “Around Town” Scavenger Hunt in a socially distant format. Ghosts and Goblins GO! will run from October 23 through November 8, 2020.
Ghosts and Goblins GO! participants will receive a virtual bib to showcase their CCS Superhero, exclusive sponsor promotions, and access to virtual and in-person scavenger hunts complete with riddles and plenty of chances to win prizes. Entrants are encouraged to snap photos while enjoying their activity (anything from dancing to running to biking…and SO much more) and tag #GGGO in social media posts. Throughout the two-week event there will be theme days to highlight costumes which have always been a special part of Ghosts and Goblins.
Registration is $10 per person and $40 for a family/group up to six people. Register through November 8, 2020 at www.ghostandgoblinsgo.com. Larger groups should contact Jennifer Penix, Executive Director, Carmel Education Foundation. Penix says, “We hope that individuals, families, friend groups, sport teams, office teams, teaching teams - any and all - will embrace this unique year and join together to focus on being active while celebrating the people who make CCS the best school district around.
We can’t wait to see all the creative “on the go” activities! If you have a larger team, we will work with you to allow for participation- we want everyone to have access and to have fun.”

All proceeds from Ghosts and Goblins GO! benefit Carmel Education Foundation’s mission of supporting Carmel Clay students in academic achievement and lifelong learning.
