K1ds Count Therapy, LLC recently broke ground on a nearly 18,000 square foot expansion to their
Brownsburg facilities. The development will add two new buildings to the comprehensive pediatric therapy services campus. K1ds Count Therapy provides ABA services for children with autism as well as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and mental health services to all children and families.
The first building will provide 12,000 square feet of additional clinical capacity specifically for the growing outpatient and mental health programs. The brand new treatment facility will consist of twenty-two outpatient treatment rooms, two fully functional gymnasiums, early learner classroom space, and a training facility for staff. The buildings will also help to open up existing treatment space within our current buildings for additional ABA therapy services. With the expansion of services, will also come the increased need for leadership and administrative support. The second 5,500 square foot facility will provide dedicated offices for administrative and leadership team members. This building will serve as the administrative headquarters of K1ds Count Therapy.
With the increasing need for pediatric therapy and autism services in Hendricks County, K1ds Count Therapy aims to support that need and ensure that each child in our community has access to comprehensive treatment when they need it the most. K1ds Count Therapy anticipates adding twenty-five entry to Doctoral level jobs to the Brownsburg community over the next several years. The expansion of our Brownsburg facilities and addition of professionals who specialize in pediatric services for children will help to meet the growing needs of our community through increasing capacity of all therapy services offered at K1ds Count Therapy.
“We feel very blessed to have the opportunity to live, work, and serve in the great community of Brownsburg. We are thankful for the ongoing support from the many departments and leaders at the Town of Brownsburg. Over the past five years, The Town of Brownsburg has supported our projects with tax abatements, the Facade Grant Program for two buildings, and offered overwhelming support for our mission to SERVE Together to help children, families, and our community. Since opening in 2015, our goal at K1ds Count Therapy has been to provide exceptional clinical services to the children and families who have placed their trust in our mission and team as well as to provide the best possible employment experience and to positively impact our local communities. This expansion will allow us to increase that
capacity, provide even more quality employment opportunities, and continue to support the needs of children with special needs, their families, and the community as a whole,” said Co-Founder, Frank Knez.
